The Antico Cantinone di Domaso
The celler, Antico Cantinone di Domaso, was built in 1600 and renovated in 1850. It was formerly used as a wine-growers’ cooperative of Domaso. After years of neglect, the celler was given new life as a winery producing Spumante Domasino and as a tasting location in order to propose a sensory journey through the flavors of Domaso and Lake Como.
In this extraordinary mid-1600s location, the Sorsasso Farm Holding offers to all wine lovers the possibility to taste its products and various specialties from Lake Como in this unique premises in the center of the ancient village of Domaso. During the 2012 summer-season the “Antico Cantinone di Domaso” will be open from 13th July to 24th August, from 4.30pm to 7pm (15 August closed). No advanced booking is required.
